You met us on the home page and now its time hear our story

I grew up on the farm til I was 13 years old and then my family moved to town so my farm became rabbits. I raised New Zealand Whites and Californians for 4-H and FFA projects. When I got married to my lovely wife and still lived in town we started back raising rabbits for my two oldest kids for the fair then we took a break till my two youngest kids got involved in 4-H and needed a project so we went back into rabbits. David (21)the oldest son bought a Florida White at a flea market and we built from there. I tried to get my youngest son James(14) into Silver Martens but he fell in love with the New Zealand Red so I took up the Martens. The youngest ,Megan (12) started with Netherland Dwarfs but switched to Creme D'Argents. My wife Teresa was the last to pick her breed out but has the biggest breed of us all. She has the Flemish Giants and the most work in the rabbit house.

We have been showing in open shows since 2005 and attended the National show in Fort Worth Texas to see how one ran before we jumped into the Nationals. James and Megan represented Iowa on the judging and breed identification teams in Texas and are ready to go to Michigan in 2007 to show and represent Iowa on the teams again.

James is also representing Iowa State RBA as Iowa Prince for 2006-2007
James is the 2007-2008 Duke for the Iowa State RBA

Megan and James competed on the Iowa teams for Breed ID and Judging.

James was on the intermediate team and they placed 1st in the nation. James also was 3rd runner-up for individual judging.

Megan placed in the top 10 for individual judging for Jr divison.

Our Bunny Philosophy

To have fun and grow together as a family to learn as much about our breeds and other breeds as possible. To promote the raising and showing of rabbits. And to improve upon each of our breeds.
